Overview
Apex Booking helps customers request appointments and helps businesses manage bookings, services, staff, and customer communication. This Privacy Policy explains how Apex Booking collects, uses, shares, and retains information.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate the app and provide booking-related services.
- Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, user id, or account id.
- Booking information, such as selected business, service, package, add-ons, requested date and time, selected staff member, booking status, reschedule requests, and customer notes when provided.
- Business information, such as business name, services, packages, add-ons, business hours, staff/team information, settings, and role assignments.
- Support and report information, such as help messages, report content, and related booking, business, user, or account context needed to review and respond.
- Device and notification information, such as push notification tokens and platform details needed for app notifications.
- Service address or location information when provided or selected for booking and service-location features.
- Business content submitted for translation if auto-translation features are used.
How We Use Information
- Create and manage accounts.
- Let customers request and manage appointments.
- Let businesses manage bookings, services, staff, and settings.
- Send booking, confirmation, cancellation, and reschedule notifications.
- Provide support and report handling.
- Prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain security and audit history.
- Operate, debug, and improve the service.
- Translate business content when that feature is used.
Retention And Account Deletion
Some booking, business, support, restriction, and report records may be retained for operational, audit, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and business-history purposes.
Users can request account deletion in the app from Profile / Account -> Delete account request. Account deletion is currently request/review based. It is not instant, and submitting a request does not immediately delete or anonymize every historical record.
If an account has active bookings, business ownership, staff responsibilities, unresolved support issues, or legal/audit needs, additional review may be required before deletion can continue.
Data Sharing And Processors
We do not sell user personal data.
We may process data with service providers needed to operate, secure, and support the app, or when required by law. Current or expected services include Supabase, Expo, Apple and Google push notification services, OpenAI API for business-content translation when applicable, future SMTP/email providers, and app store platform services.
If analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, maps, or other providers are added, this policy should be updated before those providers are used in production.
Security
Apex Booking uses authentication and server-side authorization controls to protect app data, including secure on-device session storage, Row Level Security, secure RPC controls, and reduced sensitive data exposure in logs.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user information using reasonable technical and operational safeguards.
Children
Apex Booking is not intended for children under the applicable minimum age without appropriate consent. Final child/privacy wording should be reviewed before production launch.
International Processing
User information may be processed through service providers in other countries depending on the infrastructure used to operate Apex Booking.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date.
